So you ask, "What is a troglodyte?" It is a person that lives in a cave. He keeps to himself and no one knows what he is really like or what he is capable of doing. If we were making a movie, the person might be living in a cave above the city. Children would make up stories and games about the Trog. Legends would abound. Some entrepreneur would make Trog dolls to sell. The local restaurant would serve an entree called 'the trog' (what that would be is anyone's guess). The local officials would name a street after him/her and there were be a day all businesses would close to celebrate "Our Troglodyte Day." Flags and pins commemorating the Trog would be bought and traded at the local swap meet.
Whenever there is mystery and superstition surrounding an unknown, all sorts of stories, ceremonies and events arise. But, we are not making a movie. We do, however, have a mystery of our own here at The-J.
The legacy and tradition of The-J is not a mystery. But, whether the legend becomes a permanent reality and continues to grow and to flourish depends upon your telling the true story of YOUR Center. Please send in your story and we'll post it on YOUR CENTER'S BlOG.
